After visiting the exhibition, Jennifer, Lisa and I all agreed that the “3 weeks in May,” would set as the main concept of our inspiration for this project. For a silhouette, we looked at traditional dress of Amish women. We discussed the gender roles of this religion and centered in the the idea that women do not have to be/or dress overly sexy to be raped.
We worked together on all sketchs. No lines were made or cut without the approval of all 3 of us.
To complete the project we divided ourselves into 3 teams. Jennifer was captain of Team Pattern, Lisa was Team Dye and I was Team Sewing. We all played for and rooted for each of the 3 teams but led our own accordingly.
